About the role

Infosys is looking for fresh graduates to fill the roles of Specialist Programmer L3, Specialist Programmer L2, Specialist Programmer L1, and DSE Trainee.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks as per project and client requirements.
• Code Quality and Reviews: Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code review cycles to ensure high standards of maintainability and performance across the team.
• Problem Solving: Analyse complex technical challenges and develop efficient algorithmic solutions with strong data structures and logic-building skills.
• Agile Collaboration: Work within cross-functional agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver features on schedule.
• Client Interaction: Understand business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications and working software solutions.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, or related disciplines.
• Batch Year: 2026 graduates only.
• Academic Performance: Minimum 60% aggregate (or 6.0 CGPA) throughout all academic years with no active backlogs at the time of application.

Skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++, etc.).
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of databases and OS concepts.
