About the role
The Digital Twin Developer will enhance Hitachi Energy's IdentiQ platform by building new features and automating 2D/3D design workflows using AI. Working in a hybrid setting in Chennai, you will collaborate with BIM, AIM, R&D and product teams to deliver high‑quality, maintainable code that drives the company’s HVDC digital twin capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve features of the IdentiQ digital twin solution.
- Integrate 2D/3D models from BIM and AIM systems, ensuring data consistency across platforms.
- Research and apply AI/ML techniques to automate modeling and documentation tasks.
- Partner with product owners to prioritize work aligned with customer needs.
- Maintain code quality through testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Diagnose and resolve software bugs quickly while adhering to safety and integrity standards.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years of professional software development experience, preferably with digital twin or BIM solutions.
