Software Development Engineer II (Frontend)

About the role

HighLevel is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (Frontend) to design and deliver high‑performance, data‑intensive CRM interfaces using Vue.js and TypeScript. The remote‑first position involves building reusable components, optimizing large‑dataset rendering, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ship scalable features for millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, scalable user interfaces with Vue.js and TypeScript.
• Create clean, reusable UI components for tables, filters, forms, and document handling.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and asynchronous services.
• Optimize rendering and interactions for large datasets using lazy loading, pagination, and caching.
• Own feature lifecycle from technical design through testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams to ensure quality and performance.

Eligibility

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on frontend development experience.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.
• Proven experience with Vue.js or a comparable modern component framework.
• Experience building reusable, scalable component libraries.
• Ability to independently deliver medium‑complexity features end‑to‑end.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
