About the role

HPE is looking for a Java Backend Engineer to join its Hybrid Cloud team in Hyderabad. The position is onsite and focuses on designing, building, and deploying cloud‑native application modules for the GreenLake platform. You will work with distributed systems, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Interpret feature specifications and plan coding, testing, and integration tasks.
Design and develop moderate to complex cloud application components following security and performance guidelines.
Debug and resolve code‑level issues and integration challenges.
Create and run thorough test plans covering performance, scalability, usability, and security.
Deploy services using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, automating scaling and management.
Contribute ideas for adopting new technologies and improving existing solutions.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related quantitative field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
