About the role
Motorola Solutions is looking for an experienced software engineer to design and build a high‑performance load‑distribution engine. The role focuses on creating scalable APIs, messaging layers and consensus mechanisms for a mission‑critical system handling thousands of assignments per second.
Responsibilities
- Develop the core load‑distribution engine using finite‑state machines and weighted‑average‑score algorithms.
- Design high‑throughput gRPC APIs and RabbitMQ‑based event pipelines.
- Implement leader‑election and consensus logic with Consul Raft and LockAuthority across active‑active deployments.
- Integrate Apache Ignite/GridGain for stateless caching and rapid data recovery.
- Ensure the system scales to process over 3,000 assignments per second.

Eligibility
