Handshake AI is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer I to create and maintain production software that enables frontier AI labs to solve real‑world challenges. Based in Bengaluru, the role works closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams across India and the US, delivering full‑stack solutions that are reliable, scalable, and customer‑focused.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate production systems that support AI‑lab deployments.
Collaborate with senior engineers to craft customer‑facing solutions across the full software stack.
Develop front‑end features using React and TypeScript and back‑end services with modern technologies.
Translate client requirements into robust, maintainable software components.
Enhance system reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Work with engineering, research, product, and operations teams to deliver high‑impact initiatives.
