About the role

Halliburton’s Landmark Software & Services team is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join its Bengaluru office. The position is full‑time and follows a hybrid schedule, requiring three days a week on‑site. You will work on cloud‑native and on‑premise platforms that power oil‑and‑gas operations worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and ship new features for energy‑industry software products.
  • Debug and resolve production issues in large‑scale applications.
  • Write and maintain automated tests as part of the delivery pipeline.
  • Participate in code reviews and apply secure‑coding practices.
  • Document technical decisions and contribute to system documentation.
  • Collaborate with distributed teams across time zones.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of three years of hands‑on software development experience.

Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one language: Java, Python or .NET.
  • Experience with front‑end frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
  • Understanding of version control, build systems and CI/CD pipelines.
