About the role
GE Vernova is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineering Specialist to join its Power Systems Engineering team in Hyderabad/Bengaluru. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated test frameworks for web applications, ensuring reliability, scalability and compliance with Agile delivery practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute automated tests using Playwright with JavaScript and Python.
- Perform API testing via Postman, Playwright or RestAssured and conduct performance testing with JMeter.
- Maintain CI pipelines in Jenkins, manage test data across environments and integrate Docker/Kubernetes test containers.
- Collaborate with senior QA leads to create test plans, define quality metrics and contribute to documentation.
- Apply Lean/Agile principles, conduct functional, end‑to‑end and integration testing, and provide clear defect reports.
