About the role
GE HealthCare is looking for a fresh engineering graduate to join its Imaging Sub Systems team as a Trainee Engineer. You will work on embedded firmware for X‑ray generators, develop testing tools, and support hardware‑software integration using real‑time operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain embedded firmware for X‑ray generator control systems.
- Create and maintain software tools for configuration, testing and validation of embedded platforms.
- Implement real‑time applications in Embedded C/C++ and simulate control logic with MATLAB/Simulink.
- Integrate and troubleshoot hardware drivers, supporting MCU/DSP/SoC based platforms.
- Develop and tune PI/PID control loops and evaluate performance using Bode and Nyquist analysis.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless hardware‑software interfacing.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Control Engineering or a related field.
- Recent graduate or up to one year of relevant internship or project experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of embedded software development and real‑time systems.
- Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming.
- Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink for control application development.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
