About the role

The ELITE VLSI Graduate Engineer Trainee position at Wipro is an entry‑level role designed for fresh engineering graduates. Working from the Bangalore office, you will support basic development activities by assisting with coding, performing unit tests, documenting outcomes and collaborating closely with senior developers to deliver project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist developers in writing and modifying simple code under close guidance.
• Execute unit‑testing tasks, validate expected results and record outcomes in prescribed formats.
• Maintain clear documentation of coding details and test results for assigned assignments.
• Coordinate with the development team to understand project goals, clarify basic queries and provide regular status updates.
• Support any additional development activities delegated by the project team.
• Continuously learn new tools, technologies and best practices as directed.

Eligibility

• Graduated with a B.E or B.Tech degree in any engineering stream.
• Fresh graduate with no prior professional experience required.
• Strong interest in software development and testing activities.
• Willingness to work under the mentorship of experienced developers.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
• Eagerness to learn new technical concepts and development practices.
