About the role

Gartner is hiring an Associate Software Engineer for its Chennai office. The position is a full‑time, hybrid role within the Engineering and Information Technology function, open to fresh graduates and experienced candidates holding a B.E/B.Tech degree. You will work on building and maintaining software solutions that support Gartner’s research and advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software components following best coding practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver features.
• Maintain code quality through code reviews and automated testing.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.

Eligibility

• Must possess a B.E or B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Open to freshers as well as candidates with prior software development experience.
