Test Analyst

About the role

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Test Analyst for its Bangalore office. The role centers on validating firmware and Wi‑Fi features, performing network‑switch testing, and driving test automation using Python within CI pipelines. Candidates will collaborate with firmware, hardware, cloud, mobile, and product teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Define and own test strategy for firmware and Wi‑Fi functionalities.
• Lead and mentor embedded and test engineers, providing technical reviews.
• Plan, estimate, and execute functional, integration, regression, and system‑level testing.
• Validate Wi‑Fi device models (Wi‑Fi 5/6/7) and network‑switch configurations.
• Develop and maintain Python‑based test automation and integrate it into CI pipelines.
• Utilize Wireshark and Wi‑Fi testing chambers for network analysis and troubleshooting.
• Track quality metrics such as defect leakage, pass rate, and product stability.

Eligibility

• Graduates with B.E/B.Tech, B.Sc, M.E/M.Tech or M.Sc degrees.
• Relevant experience in embedded testing, Wi‑Fi or network testing, and automation.
