Software Engineer

About the role

Franklin Templeton is looking for a full‑stack Software Engineer to join its Hyderabad office. You will build modern web applications using React.js on the front‑end and Java/Spring Boot or Node.js on the back‑end, integrate with RESTful APIs, and work with cloud services on AWS. The role also involves AI‑assisted development, CI/CD automation, and secure, cloud‑native engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive user interfaces with React.js, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Build backend services and micro‑services using Java with Spring Boot or Node.js.
• Create reusable UI components and shared libraries.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with enterprise data and workflow systems.
• Enable authentication and authorization using Okta (OAuth2/OpenID Connect).
• Write clean, well‑tested, and secure code following best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerisation and deployment automation.
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline (B.E, B.Tech or B.Sc).
• 1–2+ years of hands‑on full‑stack or web application development experience.
• Proficiency with React.js and modern front‑end tooling.
• Experience in Java with Spring Boot or Node.js for back‑end development.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, Git, and software testing practices.
• Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments.
