About the role

Fractal Analytics is seeking a senior professional to lead platform engineering initiatives on AWS. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure while guiding a team of engineers and collaborating with clients to meet service agreements.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of platform engineers and mentor junior members.
Architect, develop, and document cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Partner with clients to deliver outcomes aligned with statements of work and service level agreements.
Drive cloud security, compliance, and optimization through audits and best‑practice recommendations.
Collaborate with agile development squads to enable cloud migration, shared platform adoption, and GitOps/DevSecOps practices.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild and automate infrastructure with CloudFormation or Terraform.

Eligibility

Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience with AWS, DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker and platform engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology or computer science (B.E/B.Tech, BCA, MCA) or equivalent.
AWS certifications such as SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are preferred.

Skills

Deep expertise in AWS services (VPC, IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, EKS, ECS, Fargate, Load Balancers).
Proficiency in Python scripting and production‑grade code (Python/JavaScript).
Strong knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, DevSecOps and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, X‑Ray, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk).
Solid understanding of cloud networking, security groups, NACLs and IAM roles.
