Design Engineer - Creative & Studio

About the role

ElevenLabs is seeking a Design Engineer focused on frontend and UX to build and evolve its Creative & Studio suite, including image/video generation, audio books, and music tools. The role is fully remote, offers high ownership, and involves shaping AI‑driven interfaces used by millions worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end features for Creative & Studio products using Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Define UI/UX standards for AI‑powered interfaces, iterating based on user feedback and best practices.
• Collaborate with design, growth, and sales teams to solve complex workflow problems.
• Prototype new proof‑of‑concept products and scale successful concepts.
• Maintain platform performance, security, and scalability as the user base grows.
• Mentor junior frontend‑leaning engineers and share knowledge across squads.

Eligibility

• Strong portfolio of web projects demonstrating design sensibility and technical depth.
• Proven frontend engineering experience, especially with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Ability to solve hard problems without formal degree requirements.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative mindset and willingness to work remotely with a global team.

Skills
