About the role

CRED is looking for a Fraud Analyst to join its Data Science Fraud team. Based in Bengaluru, you will work at the crossroads of data, technology and fraud prevention, using analytical and coding skills to spot emerging fraud patterns and help build practical defenses.

Responsibilities

Analyze large datasets to uncover unusual behaviours and signals that may indicate fraud.
Investigate how fraudsters exploit product flows, processes or system vulnerabilities.
Develop hypotheses, test them with data and translate findings into actionable detection logic.
Collaborate with data‑science, product and engineering teams to close gaps in fraud detection.
Partner with product owners to understand new features and identify potential fraud risks.
Continuously learn about new fraud techniques and bring an adversarial mindset to problem‑solving.
