System Engineer – Data Analyst

About the role

CGI is looking for a detail‑oriented System Engineer – Data Analyst to join its Bangalore office. The role focuses on gathering, cleaning, transforming and visualising data from multiple sources to enable data‑driven decisions across the organisation. Candidates will work with Power BI, Python and SQL to build dashboards, models and automated reporting pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Extract, cleanse, transform and validate data from diverse sources.
• Perform data analysis using Python and SQL to uncover trends and business opportunities.
• Create data models, KPIs and performance metrics that support business objectives.
• Automate recurring reporting and analytical workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and present insights through clear visualisations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting or data visualisation (0‑3 years).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
