Associate Software Engineer

About the role

Cargill is hiring an Associate Software Engineer for its Bangalore office. The role involves designing, coding, and maintaining high‑quality software, automating deployment pipelines, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and providing technical support to ensure reliable, secure applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable code and contribute to software design.
• Leverage Cargill’s internal deployment platform to automate releases and ensure smooth rollouts.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and engineers to gather requirements and meet business and cybersecurity objectives.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests while debugging to uphold performance standards.
• Suggest and implement improvements to development and deployment processes for greater efficiency.
• Document application code, deployment steps, and system configurations comprehensively.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in deployed applications to minimize downtime.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Technology (preferably B.Tech or BE).
• Exposure to software development projects and lifecycle management is advantageous.
