About the role

Honeywell Aerospace is hiring fresh engineering graduates for a Software Engineer I position. The role is based in India (Hyderabad/Bangalore) and focuses on developing and testing software for flight‑management and cockpit display systems. Candidates with 0‑1 year of experience and a background in core Java, databases and web technologies are welcome.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and test moderately complex software using Java, Oracle and web stacks.
Perform system and integration testing and ensure robust delivery.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and ship new features.
Provide production support by debugging issues and implementing fixes.
Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation.
Follow aerospace standards such as DO‑200B where applicable.

Eligibility

B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, M.E, M.Tech, M.Sc or MCA in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering or related fields.
0‑1 year of software engineering experience (freshers eligible).
Graduates from the 2024 or 2025 batches.

Skills

Core Java programming.
Basic knowledge of Spring Boot.
Oracle/PL‑SQL and SQL database skills.
Web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, React.js, jQuery, JSP, API development.
Understanding of testing methodologies for databases and web applications.
Familiarity with configuration‑management tools and SDLC processes.
