About the role

Capco is looking for an AI Governance / Ethical AI Specialist in Pune to embed responsible AI practices across the lifecycle of AI solutions. The role focuses on risk assessment, policy translation, and establishing controls for fairness, transparency, privacy, safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI use cases for privacy, bias, safety, transparency and regulatory impact.
  • Define governance frameworks, checklists, approval gates and evidence requirements.
  • Document model intent, limitations, data sources, evaluation and monitoring plans.
  • Review prompts, retrieval‑augmented generation sources and model outputs for risk gaps.
  • Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to build guardrails, logging and escalation mechanisms.
  • Coordinate risk reviews, remediation and audit‑ready evidence with legal, compliance, security and product teams.
  • Track AI standards, regulations and internal policy changes and convert them into delivery guidance.

Eligibility

  • Degree in Computer Science, AI, Information Security, Risk, Law/Technology, Data Science or a related discipline.
