Software Engineer III - React JS Developer

About the role

Candescent is seeking a senior front‑end engineer to join its Digital Banking team in Bangalore. The role focuses on building responsive, user‑centric web applications using React and TypeScript, while collaborating with product, design and backend teams to deliver end‑to‑end features for enterprise banking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship production‑ready React components and features.
• Create technical documentation, system diagrams and debugging reports.
• Perform performance tuning and monitor key delivery metrics.
• Participate in agile planning, sprint reviews and daily scrums, providing technical insight.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional solutions.
• Contribute to technology road‑maps, suggest tooling improvements and address product gaps.
• Write clean, scalable code adhering to engineering standards and conduct peer code reviews.
• Build proof‑of‑concepts, run experiments and continuously improve development workflows.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in distributed Agile teams.
