About the role

Candescent is looking for an Associate Product Designer to shape personalized and intelligent experiences for digital banking customers. The role focuses on home‑screen greetings, recommendation cards, AI‑assisted search and insight delivery across mobile and web platforms, working closely with product managers and engineers in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

Design personalized dashboard and home‑screen interactions, including greetings, shortcuts and contextual content.
Create reusable patterns for recommendations, offers and insight cards that adapt to different banking contexts.
Develop AI‑driven experiences such as proactive insights, intelligent search and natural‑language query interfaces.
Produce high‑fidelity mock‑ups, flows and prototypes for both mobile and responsive web, ensuring clear handoff to engineering.
Collaborate on modular, component‑based architecture and document design intent for configurable, multi‑tenant deployments.
Participate in discovery, research and validation activities to balance engagement goals with trust and transparency.

Eligibility

Minimum 4 years of experience in product, interaction or UX design.
Strong portfolio showcasing work on personalization, dashboards or intelligent product features.
Proficiency with modern design tools and structured design documentation.
Experience designing for mobile and web platforms.
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how they apply to AI‑assisted content.
Effective communication and ability to present design decisions to cross‑functional teams.
