About the role
The AI Engineer will create, enhance and maintain software solutions that deliver business and platform capabilities for Barclays customers and internal teams. Based in Pune, the role focuses on building scalable, high‑performance code while adhering to secure‑coding standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver robust software using industry‑standard languages, frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to define requirements and align solutions with business goals.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality and share knowledge across the team.
- Stay current with emerging technology trends and contribute to internal tech communities.
- Apply secure coding practices and implement thorough unit testing to ensure reliability.
- For leaders, guide teams, set objectives, coach members and manage risk and governance.
