About the role

As a Frontend Software Engineer II at Atlassian, you will craft high‑performance client applications that are fast, testable, and scalable. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to solve user problems, lead technical projects from design to production, and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑performing client code that is fast, testable, scalable, and of high quality.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and resolve complex bugs.
• Lead projects through technical design, implementation, launch, and ongoing operation.
• Onboard and mentor junior engineers.
