Senior React Developer

About the role

Ascendion is looking for a Senior React Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance web applications. You will work primarily with React and Next.js, collaborate with product and backend teams, and ensure code quality and scalability across devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive user interfaces using React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript.
• Collaborate with product managers and backend engineers to turn designs and user stories into functional features.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and company standards.
• Optimize performance and scalability for various browsers and devices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications built with PHP (Zend/Laminas) and legacy frameworks such as Backbone.js.
• Debug complex frontend issues and implement effective solutions.
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and advocate for their adoption.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies including stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Eligibility

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and teamwork orientation.
