About the role

Maersk is seeking an Associate SAP Security Engineer to strengthen its SAP security posture across finance, operations, and compliance domains. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining security controls for SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and related cloud services while collaborating with global teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy SAP security solutions based on architectural designs.
  • Manage roles, authorisations, and user access across SAP systems and cloud environments.
  • Conduct security reviews, segregation‑of‑duty analyses, and audit support activities.
  • Respond to business requests for security changes and gather functional requirements.
  • Participate in full‑lifecycle SAP implementations and agile project delivery.
  • Share knowledge through training and mentorship of security team members.

Eligibility

  • 3 to 5 years of core SAP security experience.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in at least one full‑lifecycle SAP implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control, S/4HANA, Fiori, BW/4HANA, SAC and HANA DB security.
  • Ability to design and enforce governance, compliance, and segregation‑of‑duty controls.
  • Familiarity with enterprise‑level threat detection tools such as SIEM.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Understanding of cloud‑based SAP security controls.
