About the role

SonicWall is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure on AWS. The role involves automating deployments, shaping CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring resilient, observable, and cost‑effective services.

Responsibilities

  • Create automated deployment solutions for production workloads on AWS.
  • Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines for high‑quality releases.
  • Build and support resilient, observable cloud infrastructure and security controls.
  • Collaborate with developers to ship new features into production.
  • Develop management tools for multi‑cloud and data‑center environments.
  • Mentor peers on cloud best practices, code reviews, and architectural decisions.

Eligibility

  • 4‑5+ years of experience in scalable, distributed systems.
  • At least 2 years working with AWS and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
  • CS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Skills

  • AWS cloud platform.
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
  • Scripting with Python or Shell.
  • Containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Version control using Git.
  • Database knowledge (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
