About the role
Airbus India is seeking a software professional to join its Bengaluru campus and work on ARAS PLM solutions. The candidate will design, customise and implement PLM projects, build APIs for system integration, and support the full product lifecycle in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional agile teams to design, develop, unit‑test and deploy full‑stack solutions using ARAS PLM tools.
- Customize ARAS modules, create batch loaders, and perform admin activities such as installation and upgrades.
- Develop APIs that connect ARAS with legacy and other PLM systems.
- Provide Level‑3 support, troubleshoot complex incidents and ensure high‑quality delivery.
- Participate in requirement analysis, prototyping, documentation and continuous improvement of IT solutions.
- Travel briefly to Europe and be available for European shift timings when required.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- 3‑5 years of software development experience, including 2‑4 years on ARAS PLM implementation projects.
- Strong command of English; German knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work in agile or SAFe methodologies and use tools such as JIRA, VersionOne and G‑Suite.
Skills
- Hands‑on experience with ARAS PLM development, customization and deployment.
- Proficiency in API development and integration.
- SQL Server scripting and database management.
- Web development using JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#, XHTML, XSL and CSS3.
- Familiarity with cloud computing services.
- Experience with bug/issue tracking tools like Agility.
