About Airbus India
Airbus India Private Limited is the Indian company of Airbus, the European group that designs and builds commercial aircraft, helicopters, and defence and space systems. Its customers in India include Air India, IndiGo and the Indian Air Force.
Airbus has more than 3,800 employees in India, at sites in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Vadodara. Its India and South Asia headquarters at Delhi's airport, opened in 2024, houses all three Airbus businesses and a pilot and maintenance training centre with four A320neo flight simulators. The Airbus India Technology Centre in Bengaluru, opened in March 2026 for about 5,000 people, brings together engineering, digital, customer services and procurement teams; its engineers and digital specialists work on all of Airbus's current aircraft and helicopter programmes. The digital centre is a GCC (global capability centre: the company's own technology hub in India). With the Tata group, Airbus has also set up final assembly lines for the C295 military transport aircraft in Vadodara and the H125 helicopter near Bengaluru.
