About the role

Airbus India is hiring an Avionics Software Engineer for its Bangalore office. The position involves designing, developing, and verifying safety‑critical real‑time embedded software for avionics, adhering to DO‑178B/C standards.

Responsibilities

Define and document software requirements for avionics applications.
Design and implement software modules, including algorithms and interfaces.
Perform unit‑level verification and integration testing on host and target environments.
Integrate software components and conduct software‑software and software‑hardware testing.
Analyse issues discovered during testing or in‑service use and drive corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with RTOS, configuration management, and industry standards throughout the lifecycle.
