Software Development Engineer

About the role

Adobe’s Express Growth team in Noida is looking for a senior‑level frontend‑heavy full‑stack engineer to design and deliver high‑performance, browser‑based creative experiences. You will work with React, Web Components and TypeScript to build scalable features that enhance user engagement across web and mobile.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, develop and unit‑test scalable frontend features with a focus on quality.
• Collaborate with peers to choose optimal problem‑solving approaches.
• Conduct code reviews, give constructive feedback and incorporate reviewer suggestions.
• Partner with operations teams to plan, build and maintain necessary infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability and scalability challenges.
• Communicate effectively across multiple geographies to ensure cohesive team contributions.

Eligibility

• BTech or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive software development experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a frontend engineer, with the ability to work across the stack.

Skills

• Strong expertise in Web Components, React (hooks, context API, state management) and TypeScript.
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with state‑management libraries such as MobX and familiarity with Lit.
• Hands‑on with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite) and CSS frameworks (Tailwind, SASS/SCSS, Styled Components).
• Testing knowledge using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright.
• Ability to debug browser performance issues and use performance testing tools.
• Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools and AgenticAI workflows.
• Optional experience with native mobile platforms (Kotlin/Java, Swift).
