Senior UI Engineer 5 - Client and Partner Technologies

About the role

Netflix is looking for a senior UI engineer to lead architectural decisions and build modern partner‑integration web applications from its Warsaw engineering hub. The role focuses on delivering scalable, user‑friendly interfaces that enable thousands of external partners and internal stakeholders to interact with Netflix’s data and services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new technical solutions across multiple teams, taking projects from requirements gathering to production deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define product scope and shape user‑experience decisions.
• Modernise existing web applications by introducing paved‑path solutions and simplifying user flows.
• Maintain and enhance current applications to satisfy partner and internal stakeholder needs.
• Work in a cross‑functional environment, sharing knowledge with colleagues from diverse roles to achieve common goals.
• Drive innovation through prototypes, experiments, and data‑driven insights.

Eligibility

• Minimum five years of professional software development experience.
• Strong full‑stack background with a focus on front‑end UI development.
• Proficiency in modern UI frameworks, especially React; familiarity with Angular is a plus.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience with testing frameworks, REST or GraphQL APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex microservice‑based systems and evaluate refactor versus rebuild decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, curiosity, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset.
