Tower Research Capital was founded in 1998 by Mark Gorton. Over the subsequent decades the firm has built and operated one of the fastest and most sophisticated electronic-trading platforms in the industry, investing heavily in low-latency network infrastructure, custom exchange connectivity, FPGA-accelerated systems, and high-throughput data analytics.
