MakeMyTrip Limited is an Indian online-travel company that operates the MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, and redBus consumer-travel brands. With its principal executive office in Gurugram, Haryana, the company offers domestic and international air ticketing, hotels, holiday packages, intercity buses, rail tickets, intracity cabs, and corporate-travel solutions to consumers and small-and-medium businesses, primarily in India and across the Indian diaspora. The firm was founded in April 2000 by Deep Kalra to serve the United States–India travel market. After the dot-com downturn, the company refocused on the domestic Indian market in 2005 as low-cost carriers and broadband adoption took off in India. MakeMyTrip went public on the Nasdaq Stock Market in 2010 under the ticker MMYT and is incorporated in Mauritius. The group serves tens of millions of customers each year and is one of India's largest online-travel companies by gross-bookings volume. MakeMyTrip employs approximately 4,000 people globally with offices in Gurugram, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and other Indian cities, and international hubs in Singapore, Bangkok, and Dubai. India delivery centres are concentrated in Gurugram and Bengaluru.
