Full-Stack Developer

About the role

WSP India is looking for a full‑stack developer to create and sustain web applications that power its transportation, infrastructure and environmental solutions. Working from Bangalore in a hybrid model, you will partner with UX designers and product teams to deliver fast, accessible front‑ends and reliable back‑ends using modern Python and JavaScript technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and maintain complete web applications from user interface to server logic.
• Build responsive, accessible front‑end components with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop backend services, APIs and database schemas using Python‑based frameworks such as Django.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and cloud services into the platform.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product owners to translate requirements into functional features.
• Optimize code for performance, reliability and scalability.
• Identify and fix defects, and resolve integration challenges.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and Jira task tracking.
• Conduct peer code reviews and uphold engineering best practices.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and architecture diagrams.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a full‑stack developer or in a similar role.

Skills

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Experience with a modern front‑end framework such as React, Vue.js or Angular.
• Strong backend development skills in Python, preferably with Django.
• Ability to design and consume RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and use of Jira for issue tracking.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
