Data Science Intern

About the role

Honeywell is offering a Data Science internship for master’s students to work on real‑world analytics projects that drive business value. Interns will engage in data analysis, build predictive models, visualise insights and collaborate with seasoned data scientists and engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in an industrial automation environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Design, develop and evaluate predictive models using machine‑learning algorithms.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into data‑driven recommendations.
• Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders in clear, visual formats.

Eligibility

• Pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with data analysis and machine‑learning concepts.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and modelling.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment and a passion for continuous learning.
