About the role

Amber, a student‑housing booking platform, is looking for an AI‑driven software engineering intern in Pune. You will work on real product features using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python and AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code and Codex. The internship is open to current students and recent graduates who are eager to experiment, prototype quickly and ship functional code.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance web applications, internal tools and product features across the full stack.
  • Design and implement APIs, integrate services and work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Leverage AI‑powered coding tools to generate, refine and debug code, and evaluate AI output critically.
  • Translate UI designs from Figma or Framer into working prototypes using design‑to‑code workflows.
  • Debug, test and optimise code for performance, reliability and security.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers and designers, and contribute to engineering best practices.

Eligibility

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Basic programming skills in at least one language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java or C++).
  • Familiarity with web development concepts, APIs or databases through coursework or personal projects.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability, logical reasoning and curiosity about software.
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to learn independently.
