Cloud Developer

About the role

HPE is looking for a Cloud Developer to join its Bengaluru team and help build cloud‑native applications that power edge‑to‑cloud solutions. You will design and implement moderate‑complexity features, write clean code in Python and Go, and ensure the solutions meet security and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud application components based on detailed specifications.
• Maintain and enhance existing modules while adhering to security policies.
• Create, execute, and automate test plans for assigned code sections.
• Deploy applications, monitor runtime behavior, and troubleshoot issues in the cloud environment.
• Collaborate with peers, technical writers, and managers to share innovative ideas.
• Analyze business and engineering data to devise solutions for complex application challenges.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Some exposure or hands‑on experience in the Cloud Engineering domain.

Skills

• Strong programming proficiency in Python and Go.
• Good understanding of cloud‑native design patterns, developer tools and managed services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work collaboratively.
