DevOps Engineer

About the role

Webito is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its Surat office and help build reliable, automated deployment pipelines. You will work with cloud platforms, container technologies, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools to ensure smooth application releases and maintain robust Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Provision and manage infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure, leveraging Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Administer Linux servers, Docker containers, and basic Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS).
• Automate routine tasks with Bash or Python scripts.
• Monitor systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana or similar solutions and handle alerts.
• Support cloud networking components like DNS, firewalls, load balancers and VPNs.
• Apply DevSecOps best practices for access control and secret management.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline releases and troubleshoot issues.
• Document infrastructure designs, deployment processes and configuration details.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and reliability improvements.

Eligibility

• Graduated with a B.E or B.Tech degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, cloud services or system administration.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS and/or Azure.
• Familiarity with Linux command‑line operations.
