Software Engineer II (Frontend)

About the role

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a mid‑level Frontend Engineer to build and scale high‑traffic sports streaming experiences for NCAA Digital and Bleacher Report. You will work with React, TypeScript and modern web tooling to deliver responsive, accessible interfaces that serve millions of fans worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex front‑end features using React and related technologies.
• Architect scalable, maintainable UI components and overall front‑end architecture.
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible web pages.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce front‑end best practices.
• Stay updated on front‑end trends and champion modern tools and workflows.

Eligibility

• Minimum 2 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred.

Skills

• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with React (or similar frameworks such as Vue).
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
• Familiarity with state‑management libraries and modern build tools.
• Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
