Software Engineer II, Frontend

About the role

AiPrise is looking for a mid‑level Frontend Engineer to own and evolve the customer onboarding experience. You will build responsive KYC/KYB screens, integrate camera‑based ID capture, and maintain web, Flutter and React‑Native SDKs that power the flow across many devices and browsers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement onboarding screens for individuals and businesses, ensuring a smooth, mobile‑first experience.
• Develop reliable camera features such as ID capture, selfie, and liveness detection that work on iOS, low‑end Android and within embedded apps.
• Maintain and enhance the Web, Flutter and React‑Native SDKs so the flow feels native in client applications.
• Optimize performance and stability on low‑spec devices and slow networks, using data‑driven insights to reduce drop‑offs.
• Write clean, well‑tested code, participate in code reviews, and quickly debug production issues.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams, and occasionally contribute backend code in Python.

Eligibility

• 2‑4 years of experience shipping web products in production.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and React, with solid state‑management skills.
• Good command of HTML, CSS and responsive, mobile‑first layout techniques.
• Understanding of mobile browsers, camera permissions and cross‑browser quirks.
• Fundamental knowledge of data structures, algorithms and problem‑solving.
• Demonstrated ability to take a feature from vague requirements to production ownership.
