Graduate Apprentice Trainee

About the role

The Graduate Apprentice Trainee will assist Volvo Construction Equipment’s warehouse operations in Bangalore by applying lean management principles, analysing data, and building visual dashboards. The role focuses on process improvement, automation, and reporting using Power BI, PowerApps and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement a digital team board across the organization.
• Introduce cost‑deployment and other lean tools on the shop floor.
• Drive CIMP and PS methodologies throughout the site.
• Create and maintain dashboards with Power BI and similar platforms.
• Support warehouse functions through data analytics and regular reporting.
• Automate processes using PowerApps and Power Automate.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to boost operational efficiency.
• Ensure data accuracy and keep decision‑making reports up‑to‑date.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Graduation batch years 2025 or 2026.
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in data visualization.

Skills

• Lean management principles.
• Power BI for dashboard creation.
• PowerApps and Power Automate for process automation.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
