About the role

As a Software Engineer Intern at Friday Media Group in Bangalore, you will work on building and maintaining web applications using PHP and the Symfony framework. The six‑month program offers hands‑on experience with API integration, front‑end development, and collaborative coding within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications with PHP and Symfony.
Implement API integrations with third‑party services.
Collaborate with front‑end developers to create responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
Use Git and Bitbucket for version control and participate in code reviews.
Debug and resolve issues across the full web stack.
Follow coding standards and produce clear documentation.

Eligibility

Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Previous internship or project experience in web development is a plus.
Basic understanding of PHP and the Symfony framework.
Familiarity with front‑end web technologies.
Ability to work in a hybrid setting and communicate effectively.
Enthusiasm to learn Agile practices.
