About the role
Volvo Construction Equipment is offering a one‑year Graduate Apprentice Trainee program in Bangalore for fresh engineering graduates. The position centers on supplier quality monitoring, data analysis and support to the Quality Lead within the Financial Services function, giving hands‑on exposure to manufacturing and quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily quality issues, generate alerts and record notifications.
- Compile weekly and monthly quality data and share with the manager.
- Conduct joint quality review meetings with stakeholders.
- Address supplier part quality problems on the production line and verify stock.
- Assist in root‑cause analysis, follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and obtain RCA/8D reports.
- Interact continuously with suppliers to improve part quality.
- Inspect PPAP and ECN parts at supplier sites and in‑house, verifying reports against drawings.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy or Material Science.
- Graduation batch years 2025 or 2026.
- Freshers with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Skills
- Hands‑on experience with Power BI (preferred).
- Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of measuring tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with fabrication, painting and other manufacturing processes (preferred).
