About the role

Visa is looking for a senior software engineer to join its Value‑Added Services Innovation team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building generative‑AI‑enabled full‑stack applications using Java or Python, with a strong emphasis on modern integration patterns, API design, and cloud‑native deployment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and deliver innovative AI‑driven software solutions, including generative and conversational AI components.
Collaborate with product, operations, cybersecurity and client‑support teams to integrate new features into the VAS platform.
Create and maintain RESTful APIs and front‑end interfaces using React, Angular or Node.js.
Drive technology modernization by adopting Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and CI/CD best practices.
Lead incident, change and problem‑management activities to ensure high availability.
Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
