Junior Associate – Infrastructure Management Associate

About the role

The role is an entry‑level position at Virtusa’s HYD Campus in Hyderabad, combining IT infrastructure support with Java‑based automation. Candidates will assist in managing servers, networks and applications while developing scripts to streamline operations, gaining exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks and applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot infrastructure‑related issues.
• Develop Java scripts and tools to automate routine infrastructure tasks.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Participate in planning and execution of infrastructure projects.
• Document processes, configurations and procedures for infrastructure components.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience or fresh graduate.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming.
• Basic understanding of servers, networks and databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
