Associate – Mobile Testing

About the role

Virtusa is hiring Associate – Mobile Testing professionals in Hyderabad. The role focuses on manual testing of iOS and Android applications, creating test cases, plans and scripts, tracking defects, and collaborating with developers and product managers. Ideal candidates have a B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA degree and 0–2 years of testing experience or relevant internships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing of mobile apps across iOS and Android devices.
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and validate functionality.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Assist in preparing testing documentation and reports.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCA).
• 0–2 years of experience in manual mobile testing or relevant internships.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
