Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical guidance, ensuring best practices in architecture and design.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Drive development of new features, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to align goals and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Oversee code reviews, enforce coding standards, and champion clean, maintainable code.
• Stay current with trends in collaborative editing, cloud infrastructure, and web development, applying innovations to the product.
• Maintain stability and performance of the Docs platform, addressing technical debt and optimizing architecture.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing and scaling engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Skills

• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience with relational databases and modern frontend frameworks.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
