About the role

Kulfi is looking for a Software Engineer I to build end‑to‑end product features for its Flutter‑based couples app. You will work on mobile, web, backend APIs and data layers, turning design and product ideas into reliable, user‑friendly experiences while collaborating with a small, high‑intensity team in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and ship features across Flutter mobile, web interfaces, backend services and databases.
  • Translate product and design specifications into clean, maintainable code.
  • Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and verify feature behavior before release.
  • Investigate and resolve bugs across the stack, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Take ownership of your work, learn from feedback, and communicate blockers early.
  • Contribute to improving the overall product quality and performance.

Eligibility

  • No mandatory computer‑science degree; practical building experience is essential.
  • 0–1 years of experience; fresh graduates with at least one real software project, internship deliverable, freelance product, or open‑source contribution.
  • Ability to work onsite at Kulfi’s Jayanagar office in Bengaluru.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Flutter for mobile development.
  • Strong grasp of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with backend development (Node.js, Python, Java) and RESTful APIs.
  • Working knowledge of databases and basic deployment concepts.
  • Ability to write readable code, test changes, and perform code reviews.
  • Good sense of user experience, handling loading, error and retry states.
