About the role

Veeva Systems is looking for a Release Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be highly technical, motivated, and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Engineering and Technical Operations to support the existing release and change management process
• Execute and manage deployment activities for each sprint
• Work on CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA) on a daily basis
• Communicating status and working with onshore managers and team leads

Eligibility

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and scripting
• Hands-on familiarity with Git (version control) and Jenkins (build automation)

Skills

• Basic knowledge of Java, Object-Oriented Methodologies
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Basic understanding Linux, scripting language (eg Python, bash, ruby, groovy)
